Comments: Extraordinary orthopedist!!! Dr. Derek Ochiai is absolutely, hands down, the BEST of the BEST!!! I tore my ACL skiing in PA recently, went to an orthopedic urgent care in PA where an x-ray was taken to confirm no broken bones, and was told I would have to wait 3 weeks to get an MRI and 4 weeks for a consultation with a PA orthopedist to discuss treatment. I work in NOVA, and called Dr. Ochiai immediately upon arriving to work in NOVA the following Monday morning. I was in that same day for an MRI, then 2 days later for my consultation with Dr. Ochiai, and had my treatment plan in place by 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning. Surgery for ACL reconstruction was performed by Dr. Ochiai 2 weeks later. He is professional, has a terrific bedside manner, and, is extremely skilled at what he does. The follow-up is fabulous and I expect to be hiking and skiing again very soon! Excellent experience, exceptional doctor, and I highly recommend Dr. Ochiai, his staff, and the surgical center, Harbor Heights Surgical Center! NJL, RDH
